you thought that was better? that was complete crap, I mean jesus just compare the scene where gary oldman yells "everyone" to the beggining of that clip. It felt like a highschool play rendition of the movie. Explain to me how this is better than the foreign movies we have here.
Not better than the original, a better choice to copy it as much as possible as opposed to when they get redone here they ineivtably water it down.
that doesnt make sense either because whats the point in watching a remake that doesnt stray from the movie it copied? Wouldnt it make more sense to just watch the original if both moves are exactly the same? Remakes are better when they use the source material to make a better movie. Look at Ringu compared to The Ring. The Ring ended up being better in almost every way, while still keeping things in common with the source. A better example is Ringu2 compared to The Ring 2, which had absolutly nothing in common with each other except the use of さだこ or whatever her name was in the english version.Two completely different stories.
