9/10 easily. Best alt rock band ever

For a pop alt rock band they were alright. Liked their hybrid of styles, although the rapping always sucked and their lyrics eventually became a bit too much like something I'd hear from a 14 year olds favourite group.
Overall, alright. Not amazing
I'd say 4/10. I really like their first 3 albums, but aside from a song or two from their most recent album, everything else isn't that great.
Have not enjoyed any of their stuff after Meteora. That being said, Hybrid, Reanimation and Meteora are some of my favourite albums.
8.25/10. I started really listening to them with Minutes to Midnight; I liked that album, and some of their Transformer soundtrack songs. I have two CDs of theirs. Never listened to Meteora, although I've heard a couple of the more popular songs from that album.
and....

Alter_Echo
Because now they dress for their age.....
I don't like them but that's no reason to call them sellouts
I'll never understand why some people seem to be obsessed with rock bands that do not rock. It's not about me liking them or not; I don't like Limp Bizkit and they still manage to have plenty of rocking moments, but crap like Linkin Park is right up there in the altar of zero rockage with other non-rocking bands like U2 or Coldplay, they just happen to be more "intense."

Why the fvck does a band have to have rockage in order for it to be good.
Personally I'm not too fond of rock.
Meh, they're OK. They're not the best but they are defiantly not the worst band. The only Linkin Park songs I really like are Numb and New Divide.the_phenom_
Numb was their best song:

lyrics are great as well, so relatable
Numb was one of the Top 5 songs of the 2000's

Because that's what rock bands are supposed to do.

I thought Breaking the Habit was their best. Even though their style has become increasingly electronic, they haven't been able to replicate the style of that song.

Implying Linkin Park is traditional rock.
The band is a hybrid of rock and electronica. They are not bound by the same restrictions as traditional rock.
I don't like them much but seriously the reasons here are damn stupid

I know you are but what am IBack in the day they were cool, and doing some unique stuff. Now they have moved into other genres that didn't make them famous in the first place, and they aren't that good at them.
It pains me to say that, but it's the truth.
I guess a 9/10.
At first I was mad about them changing their sound in M2M, but it does have some great songs and after their next two albums I respect that they are being experimental to a certain degree and keeping things interesting. It is not like they sold out, cause they do things very different each time and really seem to be more of a band that truly does what they want.
Rating each album I would say they are something like...
Hybrid Theory - 9.5 - 10
Meteora -9.5 - 10
Minutes To Midnight - 7 - 7.5
A Thousand Suns - about a 9
Living Things - about an 8.5
It is REALLY hard for me to give ratings in media player :P. One thing is for sure though. Waiting for the End is their best song and one of the best songs ever!
I liked them when Hybrid Theory was released but as my taste in music changed I moved on.
CycleOfViolence
Not anymore. Take a look at my username, take a look at my join date (2003). Loved them back them, thought I'd be my band forever. Minutes To Midnight hinted at a downfall and it was indeed. They became completely crap after that. Generic, lame.
Living Things was a tad better but it still doesn't have that special something their first 2 records had. LP destroyed what they had going on and damaged their image to a point where it can no longer be saved.
