led zepplin is usaully said to be the number 1 metal band, but i dont consider them metal. Maybe they were when they came out, but compared to bands today they arent.

You might, but there's many subgenres so saying you like metal as a whole might not be true:|

Guns n' Roses is Glam Metal, Led Zeppelin is Proto Metal, Black Sabbath was pretty much the original Metal band. So yeah, you could probably call yourself a metal fan. Although, you don't exactly have alot exposure to the genre.ProudLarry
