I don't like sm.... sm..... uh.. phones a lot but they have their merits such as long range communication
edit: and safari for surfing the web, checking the degrees outside. In fact, modern phones have a lot of good features but I don't like them a lot. GPS is very handy as well. I do like it.
Yes. It's an all-in-one phone with all the features that I could dream of. If I want to surf the web and call, I can do that. If I want to listen to music and read the news, I can do that too. I guess it depends on the person but for me, I like it for its features and usefulness despite some downsides such as battery life and crashes.
Someone is being excluded to outside in the cold......Don't own one and never want one. Honestly think they are destroying peoples social skills.

Nope, I have one and I'm not a fan. I liked my simple Nokia before it broke and I would have bought another one if I wasn't such a pushover when it comes to salesmen. They always manage to get me to buy their more expensive shit :P
I couldn't live without my phone. Whenever i'm out i'm never off it. Be it using it as an Mp3 player, browser, for video games, texting, calling, radio, tv sat nav, camera etc
Yes I like them! my smartphone is my:
- phone
- text messager
- e-mail client
- internet browser
- book reading device
- navigation system
- music player
- video player
- camera
- news source
- social media source
- calendar
- to do list
- agenda
- cooking timer
- alarm clock
- portable tv
- gaming device
- travel planner
- physical training coach
All in one tiny device in my pocket.
Why would I not like it?Â
Yeah. I'm not into the whole horsepower race thing, but I do like quite a few things about smartphones. Sharing pictures and all kinds of files through Google Drive/Dropbox/iCloud/Whatevercloudserviceyouuse is much more convenient than using a USB cable or even Bluetooth. IM services like iMessage, Whatsapp, LINE or Google Talk are much, much, MUCH more convenient, cheaper and faster than regular SMS. I also like to us a neat little app called Qloud to stream music from my PC to my phone whenever I'm home so I can use my phone as an mp3 player without actually having to store mp3s on it.Â
Then there's the youtube app, which is cool if you want to lay down and watch some videos and the convinience of being able to browse teh Interwebs anywhere without having to use and computer, as well as e-mail on-the-go, maps, GPS and all that useful stuff. Â

I don't have a service-enabled smart phone anymore. Â But I still carry it around to pick up on WiFi or just to dabble around on some games if I'm waiting for something. Â When it did have service, I still didn't use it for much more. Â I rarely talk on the phone and primarily text. Â It was useful for directions or in case I needed to look up some sort of information for some reason.
omfg get real literally everyone i know who spends a buttload of time on social networking sites don't have problems socializing irl (and vice-versa).Don't own one and never want one. Honestly think they are destroying peoples social skills.
