i love my small town.
everyone knows everyone.
i can go to the gas station and not get carded when i buy alcohol as they all know me. i find it funny when that one person who doesnt work as much cards me for cigarettes.
[QUOTE="Reed_Bowie"]I'm just curious to see. I'll post my opinion of the town where I grew up, a little later.-Fromage-Why wait? We want to hear it now. no,i personally want to hear it a bit later.
It is okay I guess. It is only every other day that there is a drunk driver killing somebody. And now, on the front page of our newspaper, we have a massive look into why New Mexico is addicted to prescription drugs (and the story will be lasting a few more days). And that is not mentioning the hard drug problems (cocaine, heroin) that many people, including an abnormally large amount of high-schoolers, have. Oh, and did I mention the methamphetamine (aka: meth) problem that we have? Basically like Breaking Bad, but real (and less "cool").
So basically everybody you don't see (which is a ton of people) is either drunk or on drugs. Aside from that, I kinda like it, but only because of all of the wilderness/mountains that are easily accessible by living here... And don't even get me started on the Forest "Service" here.
I wouldn't know as my parents moved around somewhat frequently so I've lived in all sorts of cities for only a few years at a time all around the Southern California area with a short stop over at a small town high in the mountains of Utah.
