I love the rain when I'm sitting at home, listening to it pit-pat against my window and roof, occasionally looking up to see a great flash of lighting out on the horizon, and then the thunder sweeps through the air and it sounds like I'm being eaten up by the storm. Yeah, I love it.
I like it as much as I like a nice sunny day, but the weather where I live is so messed up. At any givin time(even during the summer) it can go from rainy to sunny. It can be burning outside but still rain, and freezing even when the sky is clear. I just wish we had more consistency.
i love the rain, not to happy wen im walking to some were but if im on my way home im fine some times wen im in the house and its raining i open a window and listen to it lol is that sad?? :)
no i HATE the rain probably more then anyone else because 1. its wet 2. i just hate the feeling and sound of rain 3. it always makes me depressed 4. when it rains i often cry and feel alone even when i'm not depressed 5. i can't sleep when it rains it has the most annoying sound and thunder makes me really scared and feel like i'm not safe :( EDIT: also it ruins my hair and my clothes and it's annoying to even walk in the rain because i don't like wearing shoes or boots so my high heels always get ruined and i have to put duct tape on the bottom so they don't get all mudy or dirty

I like certain types of rain. That rain which falls in the early morning and sounds quiet and peaceful. The heavy rain which breaks an otherwise boiling hot day. That can be quite refreshing. I don't particularly like the spitting rain which gets all of you wet and cold, and then it takes an hour to try out afterwards. I tend to enjoy looking at rain, rather than standing in it.
But I'm not like The Carpenters. Rainy Days and Mondays don't get me down. ;)

Chronic Fear of Rain (CFR for short), better known as precipitationaphobia, or the fear of water from the sky, strikes DOZENS of individuals year-round.
Unless it's raining at night and I'm trying to get somewhere in a car, can't get enough of it. I don't even mind getting wet. One thing I do hate is that sort of half-assed drizzle you get when it's been drearily overcast for weeks and refuses to rain except ONE TIME for about 5 minutes. This is why I no longer live in Seattle.
