Hmm.. I never have a reason to lie, but I'm only honest if the truth is deserved and I'm only truthful with the people I respect. So If there is no respect or the truth isn't deserved I do not have a reason to disclose the truth, therefore I am not obligated to share the truth. I am not going to lie for no reason, but if a lie is warranted and will improve my situation or eliminate my problem I will have no reason to divulge the truth.
Sometimes a person must lie. Not everyone appreciates nor respects honesty, so not everyone deserves the truth. They only know what they need to know. Being too honest leads to trouble. Gullibility is a weakness that others take advantage of. Cheating & lying dominate fairness & honesty, so don't be a sucker. Sometimes you must lie, because sometimes it's a need to know basis and the knowledge is determined by the need.

This year my friends switched their lockers (just by popping some empty lockers) and you guys know that they ome in sections so there section(about a little less than from one arm stretched out to the other)was a little loose and they started to pull at it little by little and it got even more loose and the lockers got further out and one day the janitor came by and started to fix it by taking that whole section out of the wall. Some other people including me were standing there watching(we don't usually see lockers out of the wall)hime take out stuff in the wall and replacing it and hitting the lockers with a hammer to put the metal back in allignment. Afterwards he asked us who did it because they had to pay a lot of money for the repairs and he was like "if you know who it is tell me, and if you know and you don't tell me thne you'll have to pay the same amount as them and/or get detention."
So I lied and said I don't know who has been doin it.
His family doesn't have much extra money so does that count as a good lie or a bad one?
