The only MP3 player I ever owned was one of the very first consumer MP3 players that hit the market (Diamond Rio I think? Haven't seen it in years) I never really used it, so I never considered buying another MP3 player. I guess I just prefer listening to music at home..
A great deal of my music is in various lossless compression formats anyways, many of which probably aren't even supported by most MP3 players. Monkey's Audio, for example, is supported by pretty much nothing. I'd probably have to convert most of my collection to supported formats.
My phone plays music and video.. I have small amount of music on there, but again, I never really listen to any of it..
Nay I rock an 80G Zune.thisguy51I own a 30G Zune but I was very close to getting a third generation iPod Nano. I was offered a deal for the 30G Zune I couldn't say no to. I really like how new Zune upgrade work with older Zunes.
It's not like I can't still use iTunes on my computer to download DRM free music.
No, why waste money on an ipod when you can get an mp3 player with more features for a better price....
Instead of buying into the hype like I did when i got my mini, this time I got the New 8gb Creative Zen which has a bigger screen than the nano, fm radio, and an sd slot even though the sd feature wasn't as expected for most people I'll never use it anyway, but it's better than nothing. So i got more features, and saved over $50 for actually researching a product instead of going with the media hype.
