I, too, have a couple Apple products, I have a Macbook Pro and my iPod... No iPhone yet though... still not as smart enough to be my new smartphone... I love Apple...
I own a Zune which I think is better, IMO. It's pretty sweet to be able to share music and pictures, upload music and podcasts wirelessly in my house (especially useful if someone is on the computer), and the FM tuner comes in handy.
i got a 30gb video, i chose it over the 8gb nano (same price) which i now regret cause im barely using all that space and the nano looks so much sexier
I have an iPod, my mom and dad have each had 2 iPods. My iPod stopped letting me put new things onto it a few months ago, but I still listen to it. I like it and I still use iTunes regardless.
The only MP3 player I ever owned was one of the very first consumer MP3 players that hit the market (Diamond Rio I think? Haven't seen it in years) I never really used it, so I never considered buying another MP3 player. I guess I just prefer listening to music at home..
A great deal of my music is in various lossless compression formats anyways, many of which probably aren't even supported by most MP3 players. Monkey's Audio, for example, is supported by pretty much nothing. I'd probably have to convert most of my collection to supported formats.

Yes. My immediate family owns the ff. ipods. 80 gb ipod classic 32 gb touch 8gb nano (i think) 4gb nano 4 gb mini 80gb ipod video 40 gb ipod 4th generation. Damn that's a lot of ipods.
I own a 30G Zune but I was very close to getting a third generation iPod Nano. I was offered a deal for the 30G Zune I couldn't say no to. I really like how new Zune upgrade work with older Zunes.
It's not like I can't still use iTunes on my computer to download DRM free music.
No, why waste money on an ipod when you can get an mp3 player with more features for a better price....
Instead of buying into the hype like I did when i got my mini, this time I got the New 8gb Creative Zen which has a bigger screen than the nano, fm radio, and an sd slot even though the sd feature wasn't as expected for most people I'll never use it anyway, but it's better than nothing. So i got more features, and saved over $50 for actually researching a product instead of going with the media hype.
An iPod Touch 16GB. I love the convenience and organization features of iTunes as well. I was using iTunes long before I got my iPod. I simply love the interface.
