Nope. Just asking.
Ha, ok. I was about to bust this video of an asian playing Bossa in a way that the Brazilian greats could admire:

I do wish that I could understand Portuguese so I knew what they are singing about in the music, but it's so beautiful it doesn't matter too much.
[QUOTE="steppinrazor88"]I can play mah fingers on the table :DJoshXXXXXHOLY CRAP I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO LEARN HOW TO DO THAT! PLEASE TEACH ME! :o
Ok :D I'll PM you the basics and we can work from there!
my main instrument is the piano, i've been playing it since i was 5, andi play a little buit of guitar, bass, and saxaphonelonewolf604
Sweet!
I learned to play piano about 5 years ago and I still have pretty much zero talent. Then again, all I've had to practice on is my crappy toy keyboard that sounds exactly the same no matter how hard or softly you hit the keys, which pretty much defeats the whole concept of the 'piano forte".
So I'm hoping to excell at singing, composing, and maybe playing simple keyboard melodies (I have no rhythm whatsoever) on top of a band.
I'd also love to take up the accordion. A simple 3-octave/12bass piano accordion would do for my style, I believe.

It's a beautiful instrument. One I wish I could play, but always had trouble.
Guitar (and vocals) for 17 years, drums for 11 years, in the genres of extreme metal, predominantly. Though I also play classical on acoustic, bass and keys.
[QUOTE="pianist"]Piano.quiglythegreatNothing else?
I have played violin and a variety of percussion instruments in the past with some competence. However, I believe it is unbeneficial to divide your efforts. It is better to play one instrument exceptionally well than to dabble in a wide variety of instruments. Saying you can play half a dozen instruments looks impressive on an internet message board, but you're lying to yourself if you think you have mastery over any of them. There's a big difference between knowing the basic techniques of playing an instrument and having real control of it.
I can play piano better than the vast majority of people who play or have played piano. That's enough for me.
