Do you play any musical instrument?

I used to pluck several strings on an archaic acoustic guitar, never giving it a serious shot. Then I picked up a electric bass for the sake of forming a band with my buddies, and in three months the whole thing grew on me. I'm now attending private lessons with hopes to embellish on my music theory and apply it to my playing.

I'm aiming to play jazz in the long run; at the moment I'm mostly sitting on covers, largely on some nice Flea slap tunes. Over half an year of playing the bass, I can play nearly any song - I am of course not implying insane solo artists like Wooten or Miller.

I also have an electric guitar I fiddle around with, and I can play songs like UTB and Road Trippin with relative ease. I also tend to have a thing for woodwind instruments, particularly the sax. I may just give it a shot if I get some spare cash.

I play drums.

I tried to learn to play electric guitar, but my brothers a thief, so now I have a guitar with strings missing and the cord to the amp is gone.

The bridge of the guitar was missing at one point but I found it and stole it back, my brother wasn't happy.

Yes, I play guitar (classical, acoustic and electric). I'll be getting a Gibson Les Paul Studio soon so can't wait :)

I'd love to learn how to play the piano and the cello some day.

Yes and no. I do play musical instruments but I also play instruments that aren't musical.mrmusicman247

I play the guitar. In fact, I'm heavily involved in music ministry. I sing in the choir at my church and lead worship in one of their youth services here and there. I also lead worship at a small men's ministry I go to on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.

To anyone involved with redwoods - what's the learning curve? Does it make sense to get a sax or clarinet and practice at home?
