:P , I don't like playing around houses, we get in trouble too much. :P My, AK-47, broke my neighbors window. -.- So, now we play on my farm, with two barns, field, & woods.codymcclain14I'm actually surprised they're legal to use on public property. The BBs aren't biodegradable. You're essentially spray plastic everywhere. It's no different that just throwing your bottles on the ground. The woods behind my house are COVERED in those damn BBs and they'll be there forever now.
If someone cheats, we all line up and shoot them, after the match. , usually stops them.Painballing is fun, unless people cheat -_-

I live in West Virginia, = lots of hills. = wash down hill. :P But, I use black BB's, so they're hard to see.If I played it constantly and made it my hobby, I would get a gun + accessories such as sights/foregrip/stock and such from http://www.buypbl-paintball.com/index.php... But eh.
I played airsoft with my two brothers a few years back. It kind of sucked since it was just the three of us, not to mention most AS guns are crap that break all the time, the only good ones were 100+ dollars, which is too much for a toy. Now when we go shooting we just paper punch with .22's, or some of our heavier guns.
I've paintballed in my life. I wouldn't mind getting into airsoft either.
The problem is it's expensive. You really can't do it unless you have a stable job to pay for it.
Airsoft, is cheap... once you buy a good gun. will cost $100+ most likely... the BB's are really cheap. That's why I Airsoft more than Paintball. :PI dunno airsoft, but I played paintball before and didn't like it D=FMAB_GTODon't like balls flying at you, then splatting wet stuff all over ya? ;)
[QUOTE="FMAB_GTO"]I dunno airsoft, but I played paintball before and didn't like it D=codymcclain14Don't like balls flying at you, then splatting wet stuff all over ya? ;) It was annoying to move with the clothes and the weapons where without a scope or something, just random shooting at each other like crazy, and the place is waaaaay too small for random shooting.
I played airsoft a few times, it's actually pretty dumb. I've never played paintball before but someday I will, it sounds like fun.metroidprime55Meh, basicly the same thing, only Paintball is more powerful. I believe.

You're not playing it right man. :P We get two big groups of peopel together. and get hard a$$. :P , usually with a few building. and we play realistic.
Airsoft. Much more affordable, and cooler guns.
Im actually going to a big airsoft event in a couple weeks :) 20 dollar fee to get in for an entire day of airsoft fun :)

I'd go paintball if asked I guess, but I wouldn't do airsoft. Some of my friends' ideas of 'airsoft' includes shooting birds or small mammals. I think that's where it goes from 'fun' to barbaric. I also wouldn't spend my money on high-priced replica guns. I imagine quite a few people see airsoft as a gateway for a severe interest in real armaments, and I guess I agree with that.
I'd much rather spend my time and money learning, relaxing or on something productive.

That is true, but paintball is more fun. The range of the markers is far beyond that of some BB's out of a $100 airsoft gun.
I've shooted and been hit by an airsoft gun, but haven't actually played it.
Played paintball when I was little once, and once again not too long ago. Going to go and play it again a bunch of times this summer :]
I didn't enjoy the one in the woods because I think because I was using rented tagger-things and there were people with fully automatic and ramping-type ones.
The one with the blow-up barriers was lots of fun, I think because it was just me and a bunch of friends.

Do you have a farm, with barns you could play in? , those are best, IMO. storming a big barn. is so fun, like playing HQ.
[QUOTE="Pikdum"]
Airsoft is cheaper and less messy. Reusable ammo and realistic guns.
Paintball can suck it.
Wasdie
Realistic guns? You mean plastic crap that has a range of 20 feet?
You obviously don't know Airsoft.
My $200 AK, is full metal, and can shoot very far away, I don't know the exact range. but it's well over 20 ft. And, 410-FPS, and shoots 13 BB's per-secound. And the Clip holds 600 BB's... And that's only a desent gun.
Paintball is more powerful, and longer ranged. But, Airsoft isn't crappy plastic toys, it's sad how people judge the guns from what they've seen at wal-mart. :P
Go to Airsoftmegastore.com , great guns for cheap prices.

but nah, we'll play at a paintball place. Partly/mostly because we probably won't be playing regularly enough to justify buying paintball guns, so we'll just rent them for the day.

Me and my friends never done that, lol. just on our own.

That would be the cheap plastic sh*t you buy at walmart. I have a full metal G36C that shoots 395 feet per second with a damn high rate of fire. Its the short barrel version so the range is decent but If I got a extended barrel it would be much further. Its about the same weight of a real G36 and I also have a real red dot sight on top.
This is pretty close to my model: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=408_418&products_id=6798

That's pretty cool. my bud has a G36C, but not as good as that. You know how many BB's it shoots per-secound? My bud also has a Sniper, [ i forget actually what brand ]. but it's beast. 520 FPS, has to shoot 35G bb's to be accurate. and hurt's like a b!tch in close range. lol. weighs 10 Pounds too.[QUOTE="Pikdum"][QUOTE="Wasdie"]

My cousin has an AK like yours except the FPS is like 370.
I've always wanted to get a sniper rifle with a tripod. Those are badass. The place I used to play at had some really good tree forts for sniping in.

Allot of my friends has Ak's, not as powerful as mine though. And yeah, my buddy's Sniper has a tripod, and a powerful scope. We have a two story barn, and theres a big window perfect for laying down in, cause it watches over a field/small woods. Please Log In to post.
