I like to know what people think. I like physical music myself, and by "physical" I mean LP, CD, CS (cassettes), 8-Tracks, and so on. Don't get me wrong bro I'm not anti-MP3 (I used to be) I just feel you should have to buy the album in a physical form first.

Oh, i thought you meant if I like going to concerts. I do, but all the concerts in my area are quite ****ty.

I prefer to have hard copies of my music, CD's and stuff. I'm afraid that if i dl a song, my computer could crash or something and corrupt the file. :?

I prefer it in physical form, especially since I don't have an MP3 player

Until someone comes up with a slick, DRM-free method of obtaining CD-quality music without having to sit through downloads and then deal with the hassle of backing up crap myself, I'd much rather have physical discs.

I always buy CDs - I don't use them regularly, but I like having them around. When I'm not on the go nothing beats tossing a CD into my old iRiver player and listening to it with my Koss Pros, since there is absolutely no comparison between uncompressed 1440kbps audio and a compressed 192kbps audio file on my iPod. Some types of music benefit more than others, of course.

digital, that way it only takes up space on my hd and not somewhere else in the house.

I like to have my music physical. I don't worry about scratches or anything like that because I take care of them pretty well. Funny thing is that I don't have a CD player at home, so I listen to them when I drive to school; I hate plugging my MP3 player to my car because I have to pick up the device and scroll through artists -- I hate to keep my eyes off the road. That's why I prefer CD's, even thought it is a problem with a simple solution: playlists; for some reason I hate listening to playlists. I like to listen to an album because to me, it is like watching a movie. Having a playlist is like having many slices of different kinds of pie.

I don't know you or your habits but most people I know with scratched CD's tend to have it coming since they leave them everywhere.

I much rather prefer having an actual CD than an mp3 file, as it's not compressed and the quality is what it was meant to be. I don't mind having FLAC files of music though. :)

Actually CDs are quite compressed from the original recording. Vinyl LPs are the closest you can get to the original.

Yeah, I like reading the "who we like to thank" parts since some artist put some odd people.

Digital is so much more convenient and easier to manage.
