Do you prefer Popeyes or KFC?

I like both but Popeyes I like more.

I use to prefer KFC for their boneless chicken options (the stuff with bones is weirdly completely different for KFC), but lately they have been so incredibly salty that they aren't much different than the rest of the menu. I don't know, maybe I've changed, but Popeyes, popeyes is best.

kfc sides are much much better. kfc mashed potato's and coleslaw are so much better than popeyes.

Depends. On how much time and patience I have. If I have plenty of either, then Popeyes hands down. It tastes much better. Pretty simple.

However, Popeyes is also hands down the worst fast food place in regards to their speed of service and menu availability. It takes forever to get your food. And more often than most other places, they'll be out of something. They're a terribly managed business and franchiser.

So in lieu of that, I'll get KFC over Popeyes if I have anything else I need to do. Truthfully, I'd take Chikfila or Publix chicken over KFC and Popeyesh.

KFC. I'm not a big chicken guy but I don't care for cajun flavors.

That's a tough question because I love both of them. If I had to pick one, I would pick KFC because I prefer their breading and gravy.

Both are poison, but I prefer KFC.

There's no Popeyes where I live, so KFC wins by default

I used to like KFC, but the past few years they have sucked really bad like they don't even care.

The employees usually suck at Popeyes though.

Popeyes is ok and KFC is nothing but a greasy bucket of sh*t. It’s greasy as hell,it’s all over the place. That’s at least in Canada KFC. I’ve heard that in the United States was a different type of restaurant? Meaning it’s prepared differently?

I would say KFC, since we don’t have Popeyes here in town.

I always go to Canes, but if I have to choose one of those 2 then I go with Popeyes. I really live their good, but I agree with the above poster that their service really sucks.

They’re super slow and always get the order wrong.

They have better food and better prices, but their customer service just sends me for alternatives

KFC by default because I'd have to make a 3 hour round trip to get Popeyes but man those commercials for their chicken sandwich taunt me.

KFC. Only because we don't have Popeyes here.

Agreed. I've had dim, forgetful service w/ KFC employees from time to time, but not the attitude you get w/ Popeyes.

@R4gn4r0k: Well, if we’re gonna bring in other food places, the true answer to the question of the best fried chicken place is Bojangles. Not that any of you Yanks on here would know of its goodness.

@The_Deepblue: Never dined at any of the places unfortunately. Don't have any fried chicken joints in my country. In fact we nary have any fast food either.

I just like the nando's logo and it looks pretty tasty from the pictures I've seen and from what I've heard.

I'll be checking out Bojangles (online) 😉
