Do you prefer using annual or monthly based subscriptions?

Annual for me. Easier to keep track of and better value most of the time.

Monthly. I cancel after subscribing because I don't know how long I'll use it for. Xbox live usually has $1 month or if you havn't purchased for a while they will give a discount.

A 1 week trial to get as much as I can out of the service as possible before cancelling.

Aside from that... depends. I think my only yearly subscription is PS+. But even with that I let it run out for a while before renewing it. I've done a few streaming services on a monthly basis. I just can't commit to a full year of those services because of how on and off I am with watching stuff.

Depends on what the subscription is;

Video streaming - monthly

Audio streaming - biannually

VPN - yearly

Sports - season only

Other - depends on discounts and extra benefits

Depends on the product/service.

If it's something I use all the time, yearly...Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and WoW (when I play it).

If it is something I am unsure about, or don't think I'll use for a long time, then monthly. Game Pass, Origin Access, and so on.

More often than not monthly because I don't know if I'll still be getting use out of the service in 12 months.

Only anual membership I have is my gym that's because the discount they offered was pretty big.

Usually annually.

But it really depends on how you see it. If I can cancel a subscription at any time and there are no cancellation fees midway through a contract, monthly. Otherwise, I stick with annual.
