i have read all the books so far, but that's only because i started in like 5th grade. i'm gonna get the new one just to see what happens, but im not really excited. it's kind of just for closure.

I read it. Despise it, because Rowling's become a complete hack author... but I still gots ta know what happens!

JK Rowling is not a great author, but a brilliant storyteller.

Nowadays, writing novels are just about the money.

People like Tolkien, C.S. Lewis and James Joyce did it for the love of the game.

Yes I do, they're greatand people are foolish in saying that JK Rowling is doing it for the money. She started out with practically nothing and she became on of the richest people doing what she loves. If you're tired of all the Harry Potter hype, blame the public, not the author.

Tolkien was excellent in the lord of the Rings...its the only book i read and wasnt forced to..

and you knowa book is overrated when you can instantly be banned for posting spoilers...

Yes I read the Harry Potter books. I've read every book before seeing the movie, except for Sorceror's Stone. The day Order of the Phoenix and Half Blood Prince books came out, I bought them the first day. I plan on buying Deathly Hallows on Saturday and reading it as soon as I get home. Harry Potter got me into reading otuside of school.
