It's either you read the TC's post and reply to it, or do you try to read through everyone's post to see how you'll make yours and to make sense?

I read other posts if the thread has only a few replies. If it's got a lot of them, I just read the first post and reply to it. It would be a waste of time to go through threads about religions or gay rights because they typically get a lot of replies in a short amount of time.
that's what my attitude as well.I mostly read the first page to see were the thread is heading. If the topic is interesting or controvertial then I'll read the most comments.

I do for the most part, unless I'm tired, or feel that my response will be unique and relevant w/o reading other's stuff, or a yes or no question.
Depends on how interesting and long it is. If its a interesting thread then most likely it'll have me gripped and I'll read it through. If it isn't that interesting and just is a simple answer type of thread then not really. Sometimes I might skim through or something lol :P
there's lots of factors that dictate whether or not i read others posts before i post my own. i'll go ahead and say i didn't read any posts in this thread before i posted this one
Most of the time unless it is something like Roll Call or a thread that has like 400+ replies.MistressMinakoI almost never post in threads with high post counts. By that time, all sides have been taken and the thread is most likely being filled with two or three people debating in a long, circular and pointless fashion.
