Yeah, I read the newpapers. I don't really think you can avoid hearing bad news, as long as you don't live in the woods.guthwulf_de
Yea I know, it just seems that while looking through the paper, 90% of it is negative. Is that what sells? How can people read all that and keep a good attitude?

Yeah it's kinda sad, but the bad news sell way better than the good news. Nobody wants to hear about a mall where nobody was killed... You just shouldn't let it get near you. I think that's the only way to cope with what's going on in the world.[QUOTE="cjek"]Every day. It seriously feels weird if I go a whole day without checking the news.DanC1989Same here, anything could happen...I usually watch it each and every day. Local and national :P My local news sucks.. there's always a teenager who's been stabbed, always a London Underground station or three closed because of a signal failure, and the weather is always cloudy 'with short bursts of sunshine in the afternoon'.
Read? No...
On the other hand, if you "read" as in "watch," than the answer is "kind of."
I watch enough of it to where I have of general idea what is happening in the world (do not personally enjoy feeling of being clueless), however, at the same time, cannot really tolerate it beyond time period of 15-20 minutes.....too much negativity and bias for my own liking.....
