Yup, it tends to be easier that way. On a tangent, why is it that people who are named "Dominic" always use that as their alias whilst online? It makes me feel like the black sheep T_TSetsaI stop using my name online just after I made this account it's too late to change it so I guess I use this name and Drain Deimo
I use sigs more so than avatars but I recognize avatars as well. Of course, when I get to know the user I recognize the user name.
Go to options, forums, and check show sigs.I didnt relise gamespot had signitures i cant see them....AAAAAA!!! Whats wrong?

[QUOTE="the_foreign_guy"]I recognize people on the forum by their smell. Though, anime avatars tend to stick out to me. -Chimera-
Is it me, or are there at least a dozen users on this forum with K-ON themed avas/sigs?
All this anime looks the same to me. :P

Well I've seen a lot of anime, and I've got about 60 gigs worth of fansubbed series sitting on my harddrive, so I can usually figure out what anime someone's sig/ava is from.
Oooga booga! You'll never figure me out, with this signature I dug out of the old pile. But your avatar and name are the same. I can't change my Avatar. I've had it forever. Plus it was the first successful animated Avatar I had. Also, I'll always love The Cure, because of the arguments your signature(s) have spawned.[QUOTE="ConformestClone"][QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"]

Just go into a music thread and lump the following bands in the "suck" pile: Disturbed, Greenday and the kicker Metallica and/or Radiohead. People will jump on your case instantly for the comment and rebuke with insults towards The Cure. Also, I post on and off. Mostly in OT, though. I really don't venture much further, because my interests are very distant from most of the userboards. The few that are similar are either dead or full of incompetent idiots.[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"]I miss those arguments.:([QUOTE="ConformestClone"]I can't change my Avatar. I've had it forever. Lucky for me, I hate all of those bands anyway, so I can make a thorough argument. On another topic, I need sleep very soon, I think. I would too, considering Tool is a very progressive band with intelligent lyrics and complex, spiritual, rockingsongs. The bands that inspire and influence other artists are usually the good ones.FFCYANDisagreed. The fact that a band can make such a generic, yet "edgy" sound, so sweepingly generic it can influence bands and fans of all types and genres without hitting any specific subject matter or idea does not make them "great." Indeed, I believe most (if not all) of the typically *major* influences in mainstream music (e.g. Metallica, Tool, Megadeath, Antrax, Slayer) are boring and sub-par versions of their later-waved counterpart sub-genres. Even among sub-genres most first wave bands blow, and you have to sift through until the second to get anything good -- For example: Punk was a very low-quality and very narrow minded group of bands which spawned Hardcore Punk. Hardcore punk took on many more political and social issues, while maintaining a rough exterior and primal aggression.

Because they're good at making a very refined type of music. Being able to appeal to mommy and children as well as angsty teenagers isn't to Metallica's credit. If you can make yourself so neutral that everyone can take a piece without the slightest after-taste, you're nothing but vanilla.[QUOTE="ConformestClone"][QUOTE="FFCYAN"]I would too, considering Tool is a very progressive band with intelligent lyrics and complex, spiritual, rockingsongs.
