Poll Do you regularly wear a watch? (49 votes)
I never got into wearing watches. I would be annoyed at having bulky piece of metal over my wrist. Plus, if I need to know the time, I use my phone, LOL.

I never did enjoy wearing a watch when I was younger, and that was back when it was basically expected that everyone would wear a watch when they grew up. Having something on my wrist everyday is definitely not for me.
a watch always feels like a bracelet to me so I am uncomfortable wearing one ... I had a mobile phone I used as a watch
but it was only after I couldnt use that anymore that I realised I had became a slave of the 'clock' ... becoming obssesed with timing every move and action to the Minute ... and to be honest I felt like watching at my phone was nothing more then lighting up a cigarette to have something in your hand you can 'hold on to' ...
I can't remember the last time I wore a watch. I believe I stopped wearing one around the time I got my first cellphone. Also, I was weird when I wore a watch, because I was the only one I knew that wore the watch on my right hand (as I was right handed).
I used to post here on gAmespot. Before i was banned for whatever reason.. And yet tehtroll is free to post as he pleased.

why would you wear it on you right hand?

I can understand that. As a right handed person myself, having something on my left wrist but not my right would drive me nuts.
No, hate them. TBH I hate clothes most of the time and would prefer to just wear something like a loincloth or toga, but society wouldn't like that...
I was given a watch once, I think from a coworker when I was accepted into college (during high school). I wore it out of respect for him, but eventually I got a cell phone and seeing as how I don't check the time more than a few times a day, a watch is a pointless burden on your wrist when you have something less noticeable in your pocket that serves the same purpose.
I understand watches are as much a fashion statement to some, and while I can understand that, it makes me hate watches even more. You could easily argue I am repulsed by watches.
I would totally be on board with pocket watches, though; I think they should make a comeback (but again, they won't, cuz cell phones).
yes, I wear a sportswatch every day for work. It is very useful in lab
yeah if I ever get "promoted" to a lab job at my work, I'd likely get a watch, or more likely a stop watch.
I used to for a long time but just kinda stopped.
I still have a fancy outdoors watch I wear for hiking trips that has a altimeter, barometer, thermometer and compass built in but apart from that my wrists remain unencumbered
I've tried wearing watches but they just get ripped off too easily. Last watch I had got screwed up by a tractor hitch while I was putting the mower on so I said screw it.
Cell phone is in my pocket, I can just whip it out to check the time.
No. I don't think I've ever even owned a watch. I just don't see the point. When I'm at home I have a clock in my living room, and even my oven, TV and computer have clocks on them, and when I'm out or at work I always have my phone on me.
Watches just seem so pointless, plus until you start getting to the expensive ones (like £100+), most are pretty ugly. Seems like a complete waste of money to spend £100+ on something that only does one thing when, like I said, that one thing is already done well enough, by multiple other devices that I own.
I did until my 2 year-old Bulova Precisionist stopped working...
I'd like to get a nice, mechanical Swiss
Not anymore.
Me neither... and I think it's a waste of time to put it on and take it off too. Smartphones tell time better anyway.
Everyday. Every single day.
I would like to get another one. I have one analog one and one digital one. I haven't used the digital one in years. The digital one has excellent battery life though. I think it is going on for 15 years without changing the battery, while my other one had to be replaced after 5 years.
No I don't. Funny thing is I was out walking and some one asked me what time is it. I said I don't no don't have a watch on. They said so how do you tell the time . Same as you. True story.
Yes. Always. I'm used to it, it's more convenient for me, and goes well with office attire. Switched out my traditional watch for a pedometer that tracks activity and keeps time.
yup. i dont feel right going outside without it. its just handier for telling the time.
i dont think i will bother with a smart watch though. i like the old fashioned ones but i want to get one that winds itself up/recharges when you move so i dont have to replace the battery.
....not that its a big deal since a battery usually lasts 2-3 years :P.
