I didn´t care about it as much as other people did (some people even left gs) but I did feel like we lost a great reviewer in a unfair way

Yeah I remember. Since then, the quality of Gamespot reviews/coverage has dropped significantly. So many key members have left. I come here mainly for forums now.

Yeah I remember. Didn't have an account at the time, but followed what was happening, because GS at the time used to be my site for reviews/gaming news.

Yeah I remember it. It was a little edgy, seeing as how the whole Gamespot crew basically became silent for a while. The silence made things worse and the community got extremely suspicious and then the whole Gamespot staff just started dropping like flies after that. Then every review's integrity was questioned and there were lots of posters that left and didn't come back. The whole event was pretty scandalous

I was considering making a GS account after spending a long while reading the forums until that happened. That made me stop coming here for a while but eventually got over it and only created my account late last year.

Although I wasn't the biggest Jeff fan, the aftermath of it resulting in almost everyone leaving was what really bothered me.

I wasn't here but I know the story.

I left for a long time when that happened. Plus I get suspended around that time for like 2 weeks so it worked out well.

i remember and still think something was fishy about the whole situation. But i love giant bomb and go to the site everyday for the videos. Also i come here for the forums so they both won lol.
