Just curious, do you eat your watermelon as it is or add salt? I like mine with salt because the contrast seems to make the sweet stand out more.

As for the topic title...I can't say that I've ever heard of anyone putting salt on fruit before. Seems like a weird and unpleasant combination to me.
I think I may have occasionally but not usually. I do like salting tart apples though. I think Macintosh and Cortlands pre season are the ones for it.
