If you order fast food do you say TY? when I worked at fast food if they didnt say ty or show any graitude id feel like grabbing the cantelope beside me and throwing it at the back of their head.
lol my friend used to say " why should I say thank you im giving them my money " ohhhhhh rightttt! because the employee gets to keep that money and make a good profit and buy a lamborghini at the end of the month
MrGeezer
Simple ****ing courtesy. They agreed to give up x dollars because they wanted food, you agreed to serve them because you wanted y dollars.
In other words, EACH person is getting what they want from the sale. They wanted food, they got food. You want a job selling food, you just sold food as part of your job.
So...BOTH people should say "thank you". The customer should say thank you because you gave him the food that he wanted. Meanwhile, you should say thatnk you because he bought the food, thus helping you to continue to have a job.
I don't see why this has to be a freaking ****-measuring contest over who has the most power. Did the customer/employee both get what they wanted out of the transaction? If so, then common courtesy says that BOTH parties should say "thank you".
yea i meant if im being nice and i say ty when i give them their food and they treat me worse than dirt and dont reply and dont even acknoweledge me then id glady jump the counter and smash their face into the glass window,jk about the violence tho
