do you or have you ever been a skater?

if you have what is the best trick you could do?

ive been doing it since november, i just landed an inward heelflip :D

Yes, I can easly pull off a mctwist 900 while doing a nose grab and perform an olie before landing.

I don't skate, I think it would be boring, in the summer, all I really do outside is swim.stedtfeld

i understand where your coming from, but once you get into it its hard to stop.

and plus i live in a good area for skating, it was pretty much invented near where i live

I used to a few years back. I pretty much quite as I got older and had more things to take on as an adult. Plus breaking an ankle is never fun.

But yeah, I was pretty good with manuals. I liked them so much because they came easy to me. I used to try linking them to kickflips, heel flips, shovits, etc etc. I was decent, nothing special.

Yeh I've been skating for 7 years, soon to be 8. I don't like doing tricks because I get really frustrated but I landed a kickflip last time I went to the skatepark. This is my deck:

I ride a Mystery deck and wheels, Destructo trucks and Bones Reds bearings. I picked the whole set up from America :)

I tried to take it up but I got lonley :lol:. None of my friends were into it and it wasn't until a few generations on when it became big again like it is today. I dunno I'm 26 now maybe I can still get into it, just I don't really feel like hanging outz wid da kidz! I was born in the wrong place seriously.

There is'nt many good skaters down here in Cornwall. When I find myself at the town plaza it's always fun of young skaters trying despratly to flip their boards. I have not once in my life in Cornwall seen a single kid land a trick on a board. I'm sure it's happened but the fact I don't see it means it doesn't happen often.

i skated for like 5 years, was sponsered and got real good. kinda got over it one day though havnt skated properly for about 6 months now.

I tried to skate for a long time, I could ride a skateboard and control it pretty well, but I never could ollie no matter how much I tried.

It took me about 6 months to learn an ollie and a year to get it perfect. People learn quicker than others and I've always taken ages to learn tricks! I'd love to be really good at skating but I love skating because I get to hang out with my mates and ride around - that's what I enjoy most :)

The only sport I practice, if it weren't for skate I'd be sure an isolated fatass.

Not that I'm very good, I just skate to have fun, unlike other people who just do it to pose...

Yeah, I skate. I'm am right now. I'm practicing so I can be pro one day, I've been skating for 15 years.

I skate for Muerto Skateboards (check my sig).

I skated a couple of years ago but then I stopped. During a move with my family my board got thrown away..
I've recently had a big urge to start to skate again but without a board I can't. I don't really feel like buying another 'cause I'm saving money for my upcoming departure from home to an own apartment.

I wish I still had that old board.. :(

I love Skate

Does anyone remember the bit in Tony Hawks Underground during the climax, where your on a roof top skating. The cops are out to get you and they send a helicopter up the roof and start shouting at you from the speaker. You've built up a lot of speed and momentom from skating on the roof then you charge towards the helicopter. You hit the make shift ramp and go flying over the helicopters propellers then game kicks into slo mo as you do the McTwist. Then your buddys jaw hits the ground and everyone goes speechless.
