CD's are lossless, DRM-Free, and its a backup in case you lose the digital stuff. 10-15 dollars isn't that bad. I buy CD's and rip them to my mp3 player right away in 320kb or lossless.
I still buy all kinds of cds, although I haven't bought many lately because I pretty much own all of the cds that I want at this point. The only cds that I have on my mp3 player are cds that I own.
I buy CD's and almost never download music, I have around 1 Gig stored on my pc and psp. Whenever I want to get music from an artist, I do some research and decide which albums are worth getting.
I still buy CD's... but I upload them to my PC.. 'my' PC has a bout 30 gigs of music on it and my mp3 player can hold 8 gigs which is easily enough for all the songs I mainly listen too.
on our 'family' PC there is about 50-55 gigs of music.... alot... took my dad days and days to up-load it all :P
no i just download songs for my ipod. the only time i would buy a cd is if i liked all the songs and it was cheaper than downloading the songs from itunes.
BTW, there are roughly one-third of music retailers in the USA now than there were in 1990. Kind of sad for me. Itunes just doesn't have the atmosphere of a music store.
