Do you take your time typing/texting, or do you use shorthand?

I actually take the time to type everything out when I'm the computer, but I am just not a fast texter, so I use txt shorthand a lot.

It depends. If Im on the computer, then Ill use proper structure and such.

If Im typing with one hand, say Im playing Rock Band and Im on msn at the same time, then Ill use shorthand, or if Im on Xbox Live.

I knew one guy from high school that took shorthand to an all new level, he did not use vowels in most of his words.

A sentence that would come from him would be like:

I wud drnk abt a 10 bttles of beer wen I was at ther hawz.

I don't know, but when I see something like that I really get confuzzled.

I type/text everything (unless for texting, I get close to the limit, then it's shorthand). Taking my time typing/texting is a lot faster than me shorthanding. :|ayanami_rei

Then it would be called longhanding. And that would be pointless.

I type everything out on the computer and texting (mostly). I use the T9 setup when I text so its really no problem, its still fast.ssc0n

yea i type everything on a computer but i use T9 on my phone as well except i programmed shorthand words into my T9 settings
