i do..i find it relaxing to confide in myself...it may sound weird but it feels like theres actually some else in my brain and i can internally and sometimes when i feel like it externally talk to him..i know it sounds weird but yeah how bout you..
I very often have severe mumbling sessions before any big attack, where I just pace around and tell myself things, often I hardly remember any of them.
no it doesnt..im sane and i dont run around saying i have an imaginary friend...i just sometimes feel that im talking to what i can only call my internal self..my soul i guess
Yeah, especially when I'm playing a difficult game, when I'm doing... say veteran on CoD, I say stuff like "C'mon Mickael, just shoot these guys and your done"
all the time especially during sports or most things that relate to physical activity. as well as jsut random times when im a bit down or make some bad decisions.
All the time. Its because I mentally cannot think most of the time, I've gotta say it outloud to fully comprehend it. I can only think a lot when I'm doing stuff like math, but when it comes to just thinking random thoughts I usually speak to myself. I cant just mispell a word and think "I mispelt that." I got to say out loud "I mispelt that." And it usually garners some unwanted attention. Usually I go over conversations in my head between myself and other people, and I literally have a conversation outloud. It can be annoying sometimes.
The only time I ever talk when I'm alone is when I'm mumbling swear words in frustration over something. T!tty****, mutha****, sh**, cockbag....stuff like that.
If I do, it'll be when I'm pretty annoyed at something.
The only exception to that is now during exam period. I revise and learn best if I can talk my work back to myself so it makes sense when spoken. Kinda weird technique, but, hey, it works.
Also, I occasionally talk to myself when im in a store or holding a door open for some stranger and they just walk past without acknowledging me i go: Thank You Karl. Your Welcome... Ignorant *****
Actually, the only difference in talking to yourself and thinking to yourself is that you have to use your voice box. So i dont see anything wrong with that, its like you are thinking out loud. Unless of course, you are having a conversation with yourself..then something is wrong.
