There's a very high likelyhood that many other planets in the universe are under the same circumstances as this planet. If it happened once of course it can happen again.
without getting too much into this...while i think there is life. theres a good possibility we might be the only ones, at least in this half of the universe. the truth is is that we don't know if there are set conditions for life, or if there are multiple conditions, more relaxed. sure we know about the planet earth, but does other planets have to be just like earth for life to begin? or like i said, it might not be that strict. life could be rare, no matter how big the universe, and i think we've proved that as we haven't found any yet, even though are search has just begun.
but i do believe somewhere out there, intelligent or not, there is life. i truly think its ignorant to think we are the only ones...we aren't that special.
Im certain there is life out there. Its just impossible with the vastness of space that we are the only ones.
Theres probably countless civilisations out there in the far flung areas of the universe, some intelligent, some more intelligent that us. Chances are we wont meet them for a long long time though. :(
yeah, if humans formed here on earth then definatley.....there is an entire galaxy out there.....if there isnt one other planet capable of having some form of life....then thats just pointless, tell them to get the hell out of here

I doubt that. there are galaxies much older than our galaxy. these galaxies have had much more time for life to evolve, so probably there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe
