Do you think anime is weird?

I think it's very weird, but I still like the type of "art". I think the shows suck, and I find it weird how Japanese people portray the anime characters as "American" with huge eyes (unlike Japanese people), and usually big breasts (unlike Japanese people). I just think the whole anime/graphic novel thing is too weird. I mean, come on, a lot of anime girls/women have 5-year-old faces with DD breasts! You have to admit that's weird. Yet, it's so damn popular especially among teenage goths. I think what anime has turned into, with all of the "hentai" is a type of rebellion in Japan, knowing that their culture is very "up-tight" and strict. Now, after WWII, Japan is turning out more and more like America. Anyway, don't get me wrong - I have a lot of "manga art" books, but I still think it's very strange. What do you think?PitaGriffin

No, because anime is a really broad selection of Japanese animation, that would be like labeling all cartoons or television as weird.

I however think hentai, yaoi, yuri, furries, and fanservice anime is disgusting, and I do not want to get near that stuff.

i used to think it was interesting but then i thought it was a stupid thing that horny japanese men do in they're spare time
now real anime cartoons for kids and adults (bloody action titles) are not weird
i happen to think and japanese cartoons are better than anyone who makes cartoons

The Animes you're talking about with girls that have 5 year old faces and huge breasts is probably hentai. If you really watch Anime, like Gundam SEED, Full Metal Alchemist, and other great Anime like that, girls have natural size breast and look like their age. Elviathan

It's because she uses some Jutsu to make her look 20. If you had watch one of the episodes, you could see that she turned back to 50 again, and then she turned herself back to 20.

You do know that that is not her real appearance right? (If you are talking about that blond girl who likes to gamble and is a Hokage)

After the fight with Orochimaru (In which she saves Naruto after the guy with glasses almost kills him), you get to see her real appearance (Only her hand though).

Well, most anime contain highly fantastic stories, FMA, Naruto, FMP and Evangelion are good examples, but they are veryy good and after a couple episodes it's probable that you won't stop seeing it until you are done with the whole thing, the styl3 varies with every company, after all it's basically drawing.

Plus I don't care about gigantic breasts.
