Do you think Doomsday is coming?

I used to think otherwise, but now I'm not too sure. All the elements are in place:

Finance:

The Global Recession is leaving millions of people jobless. Who knows when it will end?

Health:

Swine flue is now Pandemic level. Thousands are infected (and another thousand suspected), no vaccine yet (maybe not ever). Thousands dead and maybe a million more to go?

Armaggedon:

North Korea is getting cranky, there is a chance of nuclear war sure they can only have a few but if 2 or 3 or even just 1 hits it's target then that will leave millions dead, a city devastated. Radiation will kill the next 2 or 3 generations, IF it happens then it would be yet another problem.

What's next? A massive typhoon? Volcanic activity in the pacific ring of fire? More eathquakes? A solar flare?

Maybe, maybe 2012 isn't some fiction after all.

:P You're so silly. That's only what you hear about in the news. For some people, the world is already over, and it has absolutely nothing to do with the U.S. We're not suffering yet. "Poor little rich boy." Duh doomsday is gunna come one way or another, whether it's the sun, Mt. St. Helens, nuclear weapons, there's probably more ways the world could end right now than most of us know about. By the way, North Korea was threatening where I live, in Hawaii. If you're in the mainland, don't get too worried unless we get blown up first, 'kays? ;)

No and those examples you gave are pretty weak.

The only thing you mentioned that could bring about "doomsday" is #1 and even that is still very very very unlikely.
