Do you think Gamespot will ever die?

My MS Paint "skillz" aren't exactly the best. But come on - this one's at LEAST 83% less festive. It was last year that they named it the pianist award, and I assumed someone else was going to win. I was going to withdraw but didn't feel it would be necessary. This year, I will if the nomination round makes it look like I may win again. Frankly, the OTCars are much more fun when you don't know who will win. And I really like Gabu's idea of limiting a category to three wins, as I'm certainly not the only one who has held a monopoly on a single award for several consecutive OTCars.

That's fine if you withdraw this year for the most intellectual award... I think I'll nominate you for the poster who should post more award this year, to help mend the wound in your heart that will be gush open by not getting that most prestigious award :lol:

Cool. Let me know what you think. I wouldn't listen to it all at once if you don't like the longer works, though. That's the nice thing about recordings... you listen to what you feel like hearing, and you can take a break whenever you feel like it. A little less convenient to do that at a recital.

yeah, but you (presuming) and others may leave, but I don't see a mass exodus of users coming. Many are used to this site, and like the forums, regardless of others. I go to a few other gaming websites, and they are good, I just don't get involved with them like GS. I like and am used to GS.

Plus we have "teh" awesome girls problems help line. There is no way gamespot is going to die. Too much troubled young men out there.

I'm sure it will. All good things must come to an end unfortunately.

The Internet hasn't even been around for that long. It's too hard to tell what will happen in the future. As long as Gamespot continues to adapt, it should be able to stay alive.
