Do you think I can plagiarize myself for a report?

This isn't really a homework question, well if it if it is considered to be oh well just help me out.

So I did a report for a book quite a while ago, now I'm doing a different report on it. But they both ask for a detailed explanation of the plot. Can I just copy and paste my stuff over there?(execpt for some spelling mistakes I found lol) I wrote the plot completely legit and everything, with some really good sentences. Also If I do it all over again I can't but help but repeat some of the stuff I already said.

You can't plagiarize you're own work, it's not possible because you own it.

You wrote it, it all came from you. So you're not taking someone else's work and passing it off as your own. Either way they are going to get your idea on the story, etc. and so just giving them that is essentially going to be giving them the same work, just rewritten. If I were you I would go over it, fix any grammatical errors and fix and mistake you might have previously made.

thw whole thing with plagiarism is that you take credit for someone elses work as your own.

If it's your own work, how is it plagiarism?

Stealing ideas from one person is plagiarism. Stealing ideas from many people is research. Stealing your own ideas is totally fine.

actually from what I understand self plagiarizing is possible, but I have never bothered to look up the rules on it because it sounds retarded to me.

Recycling your work isn't as allowable as everyone makes it seem. It's certainly not encouraged. However, if it's just a high school essay then there shouldn't be a problem.

It is possible to plagiarize your own work. If your teacher uses any kind of anti-plagiarism software and your previous submission was added to it, then your new report may bring up some red flags. However you should really talk to your teacher if you want a definitive answer.
