I think so. The trailers look pretty awesome. :P

I would say yes. I never saw the first one and this one intrigues me more than the first one did. I might see this first and than go back and watch the first one. I saw pirates 2 before I saw one and I liked pirates 2 more so im thinking the same in this case. xbox360isgr8t
You should see Iron Man 1, it's one of the better superhero movies out there.

Possibly. While the first didn't have a whole lot of action, it did build up the characters. I hope the second balances out the character building and the action.
yes the first one was terrible and the second one looks beast

Hmmm...Did we watch the same movie?
Watching Robert Downie Jr. being a jerk towards things was the only part I really liked about Iron Man, the action wasn't that good.
If Iron Man 2 still features him being a jerk towards people and inanimate objects alike, and has a non-awful final battle scene, it'll be really good.
Probably not. The first one I admit was a good movie, but had some serious problems towards the end that almost killed it for me.
The second one quite frankly doesn't look that impressive. The bad guy doesn't look that menacing to me, I mean, a guy with a whiplash? Doesn't Iron Man have better villians? I don't know much about Iron Man, so I'm not the one to talk, but it just doesn't impress me at all. Also the fact that it seems they are pushing towards other storylines like the Avengers might detract from the story.
Hopefully it will be decent.
How did people not like the first one? When he built that suit and ****** up all those people, it was just beyond epic!!!
I never understand how people find Iron man to be good, Iron man 2 is one of the least interesting summer movie to me.
The one crucial part though is that the commercials make it look like Iron 2 Man.
Not good, not good.
If it does not beat out Iron Man 1 the world should stop existing. The 2nd movie in a superhero saga is usually the best imo. You don't have to deal with that whole "becoming a superhero" part and you just get right to awesome superhero battles and such. How much better was The Dark Knight than Batman Begins, or Spiderman 1 compared to Spiderman 2.
As long as it remains very similar to the first movie in terms of writing... the mere fact it includes War Machine and an actual supervillain says a lot about its potential to be amazing.
In terms of marketing they'va already done a ton correct. Including Ironman-Black Sabbath.
Realy though, after watching The Incredible Hulk, I want to see Marvel Unltimate Alliance!!! Stupid cliffhanger and no talks about the movie.
Yes. And I bet the black guy gets his own suit or something along those lines, clearlyyyyy was heavily hinted that he would in the first film.
In terms of box office take I'm thinking maybe not because of the massive hype for the first one...but I think it might come close.
In terms of story from the trailers it looks like it might be miles better as we obviously won't have to spend so much time with all that inventing and general origin dwelling. I also felt the first one took a major stumble when it created a not so powerful villain but tried to even things out by reducing Iron Man's power by a third or thereabouts. I really hate it when they do that -- I want REAL Iron Man action!
