Do you think Men & Women are really equal?

I certainly do not, because if men and women were equal. Then humans would be shaped the same way yet with different reproductive organs. Also, if Men and Women are really equal. Men are stronger , but need assistance with decisions sometimes ,and have to provide for the family. While women , care for the young and welfare of the household. Wht do you think ?

I don't think we can ever be equal. I'm not even talking about rights.

Physically speaking I wouldn't think so, but in society a man and women are equal and are capable of doing the same stuff.

I think we are equal because we are all human beings, everyone has different qualities and defects, regardless of gender. But if I was asked to pick a "superior" gender, I'd pick women.

It's a very simple question, nature has made women to get ****ed by man. It is THE man who ****s and it is the woman which gets ****ed. You should know by now whoz superior.

I believe we are equal. And if you look at the differences that do exsist they complement each other. The things women are weak at men are good at the things men are weak at women are good at so in the end it balances and we need both sexes for teh species to continue and be a healthy animal.mattykovax

Not in islamic countries where women are given so much favouritism like she is a child. In ques they have a separate line for women, in buses they have a seperate compartment for women, girls always sit on the front seats in our class cuz it is so conjested in the back etc etc and it goes on.

In terms of our actual being, no. We are physically different and are both vital to survival of the species.

In terms of rights, that is catching up slightly in the civilised world (Excluding where Sharia Law may be dominant). With abortion being a right to a women which is legally accepted in most western countries, and the employment of women in professional roles increasing. Although, it has always been a problem for equal rights with women, even in the western world. Especially with the traditional role of women to be mostly homemakers and mothers, supporting the husband where ever possible. Men will always be selected over women in certain areas of employment, such as manual labour. That much is expected.

So, no, women and men are not equal, never have been and unfortunately, may never be.

Which is why some women grow to be 6'5" and some men only reach 5'0"? In species with sexual dimorphism, only one sex is capable of growing larger and stronger than the other with no known examples of the opposite happening.

Unfortunately, there is examples of pay problems in every career field. Hell, even male university professors get paid about 20% more and their tenure goes up faster. Women's rights still are a joke in many walks of life. Its sad.

Yes we are. Men and Women are equal.Women as Foxhound fox have stated are not as sexualy divided in terms of physical terms as some would like to think. Women can farm, lift objects and stuff and even fight in wars just the same as men. They have done it for thousands of years. Plus they can give birth. That takes some strength. History is full of strong women who have proven that they are just as equal. What do you need to see to know women are equal? A woman killing a bear with her own hands before fighting off the entire Vietcong army all while getting a 100% on aacademic test? Strong women both physically and mentally are not some rare anomaly. For most of you there is a woman you will see on the street everyday that can do what you do just as well if not better. Hell many of youmen don't reach the standards you hold as "normal" for men that you consider women of incapable of being.

All this crap about women being worse at spatial reasoning in regards to academics needs to stop. Its been proven its a matter of nuture and not nature.

Women can do anything a man can do in modern society. Men can be oppressed in society but to act like Men have it worse than women is ignorence pure and simple. Women are still marginilized by society and treated as sex objects. Even in 1st world countries sexism in both subtle and not so subtle forms is accepted and even encouraged.

Biological sex exists objectively. Gender doesn't. The TC despite claims to the contrary is a sexist. If I were a woman I'd hate to have a boyfriend who thought I wasn't equal.

If I were to apply for a job, and a lady would apply for the same job in my area she would get it... it make me friggin mad, but yeah I would say it can't get no equal then that..
