No, you need to do it sometimes. I know this first hand by having the worst year of my life. It is not weak to ask for help or tell someone how you feel. Not doing so can lead to serious issues like depression.

Every person has their own way of dealing with pain, so no, I don't think it makes one weak.

I guess if it makes you feel weak to share, then, yes.

Yes. Any hint of emotion means you are soft and weak. This can only be cleansed by undergoing the rite of the wedgie.

The ER is for little girly men. If it doesnt kill you, it makes you stronger. I can set my own bones.

Eh, not really. It's stupid to bottle stuff up.

If someone is genuinely in distress, or needs to share with an appropriate audience? No. For the sake of endless personal drama? Not a matter of weakness, more a sign of mental instability.

no the exact opposite actually. From my own exp and just from seeing it in other people keep painful stuff to yourself usually does more harm then good. Its a great way to go into depression and all sorts of bad stuff. Sharing it with other people usually helps you to feel much better and you can receive support from you friends and what not if they are truly your friends of course.

no, not outright, but a lot of people share their history simply for attention or drama.

Some people really abuse the privilege because they're desperate for attention, but for normal people just wanting to get something off their chest, no. Nothing weak about that. Thinking that you need to conform to some rules of manhood and keep everything bottled up inside makes one a bit archaic, but certainly not strong.

You're not a silent JRPG protagonist that had his family killed in the Misuzuki War if you keep your feelings bottled up.

Not at all, but I personally don't do it.
