Do you think teenage singers/musicians are bad?

I only know a few and they pretty bad I think, mostly because there songs are so unoriginal, ok heres how it is

Justin Bieber - Bad, songs get annoying and he looks about 8 and sounds

like he hasn't hit puberty.

Miley Cyrus - Okay, although she is really annoying and had here fame handed

to her, she can come up with original songs.

Selena Gomez - Horrible,I can't stand here, she has the most annoying songs

i've ever heard in my life, and thats saying something.

What do you think?

Nas recorded most of Illmatic (IMO the best album ever-made) when he was a teenager. So no.

Everything that:

1. Has something to do with Dinsey.

2. Sells an image and not music.

Is pure garbage.

If you are talking about purely Disney/mainstream artists, then yes, most of them are bad.

Outside of that there are some very talented teenage artists. They are just not usually in the spotlight 24/7.

Karina Pasian- Born in 1991, sang in the White House in 2007, and released an album First Love in 2008. Yes, she's the display pic I have. Check out this video on Youtube

Joanne Levesque aka JoJo- Born in 1990, released her first album when she was only 14, released her second album The High Road when she was 16. Currently has an album coming out in 2010. Another Youtube video of JoJo singing the National Anthem

Both of those artists made albums in their teenage years, and proves that teens can be talented.

Ronnie James Dio was 16 when he first started singing for his band "Ronnie and the Red Caps."

Michael Kiske was 18 when Keeper Of The Seven Keys was recorded.

Sadly, the days of good teenage vocalists are over.

Most of them don't sing about anything I find relevant or original so my opinionated answer would be yes.

Bad is subjective. I don't find it all that great but I'm sure younger people do. Whatever.

I'm pretty sure there are some talented ones out there...

It's not somebody being a teenager that makes the music bad, it's the fact that the music sounds horrible that makes it bad. 8)

Nope, not always. But invariably, they always have significant room to grow, regardless of how talented they are.

Of course they are bad, but teenagers don't care.
