Or do you disagree with this? Either way, explain your position.

What do you mean by unfair? Could you provide a little more narrow a field so we can answer?MattUD1

The Media has hardly had contact with her. Aside from one or two interviews has she done any media sessions?

Only the sexist like Tina Fey...however true feminist like Carly Fiorina were there to put her in her place. And might I add that Ms. Fiorina deserved her golden parachute. This is huge sarcasm, btw.

Is it their fault that they broadcast her complete hilarious, creepy and bad choice of words?

No, The media is supposed to show the mass what is going on.

Yes. She is the VP possibility and even a potential Presidential candidate in the future. This is a milestone in American history and yet because she isn't a "Liberal Woman" (and because she's against the anointed one: Obama) she's being torn down at every opportunity.

From an overseas standpoint she's defintely being presented as a model Republican, almost to the point of appearing semi-redneck. Unfortunately, relying on global media may mean reality is a whole lot different.

I don't see how they have been unfair. As a world leader you will need to handle the media as well as other world leaders. You don't want someone in charge that you have to sit there and go why are they babying her I can do a better charge. If McCain is elected and something happens then she is in charge

It is a bad sign when SNL hardly has to change the transcript from her interview with Katie Couric to make people start laughing. You do realize what she said was full of non sequiturs and babble?

An SNL skit? Have we reached the point that ANYTHING other than repeating what the candidate wants to hear qualifies as "unfair" or something?

Not at all. If you can't take scrutiny running for vice president, imagine if she becomes vice president. She is just another candidate that gets attacked for her slip ups and saying just like everyone else.

Have you even seen the ABC interview? She couldn't even form a coherent sentence or even a rational idea...

I know someone has a Daily Show bit where it talks about how Palin is being "unfairly" treated as a candidate and the double standards. And those photo's are fakes, by the way.

She has absolutely no qualifications to be vice president, so of course the media is justified in being hard on her. As for her disastrous interviews, those are entirely her fault.

if she cant handle SNL, god help her is she becomes the actual VP, The Daily Show alone will destroy her. As for attacks on her family, people like Bill OReily were all for it when it came to Brintey Spears sister, I mean this isnt a new thing. As for the bathing suits, I havent seen any of that on the news, only on video online, media has nothing to do with it. All this attention and "attacks" you think she is getting will go up ten fold if they get into office.

McCain chose her just because he thinks that he'll get more votes for having the first woman vicepresident in history. After her interview, she damned herself.

Yes and no.

Going after her credentials and knowledge of the issues is fair, but we should do it of ALL the candidates, not just Sarah Palin. Going after her family was absolutely disgusting to the point I wasn't even watching the news anymore. You start to see why good people don't go to Washington anymore. If your "not one of them" they'll bury you.

Those interviews didn't help her at all. I think with time she could be a pro and really rally the base.

I would say yes. I'm not sure how many of you read the paper, but there have been a slew of negative articles from the AP on her ever since she got the VP pick. I haven't seen a single one that had a positive slant or was even neutral. Here's a recently run article. The headline says that Palin got zoning aids and gifts. The gifts? Flowers, a facial, and fresh salmon. This is a scandal how? I've seen tons of articles like this on Palin that act like they're revealing dirt only to boil down to junk reporting like this. Palin getting a special zoning exception to sell her house as an outgoing mayor gets reported, but Obama's shady housing deal with Rescoe doesn't get a peep from the media.

No ones going after her family. They are going after an issue she is tied with that has a direct connection with her daughter. Her daughter is pregnant despite all the, abstinence crap Palin wants to push. And yea, Palin is so pround of her daughters "choice" to have the child, but if Palin had her way, there would be no choice, this issue with all the Palin lovers are saying is a private family matter only consider it so when its not their family. They say stay out of Palins private family matters, but she wants to get all up in ours and tell women what to do.

HELL NO! I'm sick of hearing this. Remember when Hillary Clinton was runing? I hated Hillary but I remember Republicans saying stuff like, "OH it's okay to be harsh (or whatever) on her since she's playing with the big boys". But OH when it's a Repubican women your too harsh on her. Bunch of crap.

They say stay out of Palins private family matters, but she wants to get all up in ours and tell women what to do.BlueTimber

Thats NOBODY'S business but her family's. You have no right to judge her and her family. God forbid you actually look at the skeletons in your closet.

She doesn't want to get in your business. She has a certain way of viewing things and thats it. Her daughter didn't follow what she preached. And? This is news how? How about we go after Al Gore's drug addict son? OH WE CAN'T DO THAT! But going after Dick Cheney's lesbian daughter (I'm referring to the 2004 VP Debate) or going after Sarah Palin's daughter? Oh thats fine, cause they deserve it.

And then accusations that her youngest son with down syndrome is the love child of her DAUGHTER AND HUSBAND!?!?!?!?

Listen, I don't think the woman is qualified to be VP either, but lets be real for a moment. If you don't like her, BEAT HER ON THE ISSUES, not because he daughter got pregnant.
