I do, I believe that sometime in the next 50 or so years , the world will throw nukes around and destroy Earth.

[QUOTE="horgen123"]Nope. I think we are smart enough to stop before thatfarisoGovernments ,sadly , arent :( That is way too generalizing. Of course we're not stupid enough to think that the world will be destroyed by nukes (wtf?) nor are government people stupid. What I see here is only a prejudiced person.

What I see here is only a prejudiced person. well one thing is certain. war will go on. nukes are part of the arsenal. if there is another world war then yes a good fraction of the planet could be decimated
Yeah America will probably launch all ther nukes becus some republican pressed the big red button that says DO NOT TOUCH and then, when the rest of the world had been destroyed, they blamed it on Iraq, Russia or North Korea.
[QUOTE="AnObscureName"]Nothing will destroy the Earth. Just life.ZuluEcho14What about the sun? Fine. Nothing will destroy the Earth except in 5 billion years time when the Sun runs out of hydrogen, starts to fuse helium instead and rapidly expands, engulfing the Earth. That will destroy the Earth. Nothing man-made though.

That's what coups and revolutions are for, kill your political leaders before their stupidy kills you.
extremly unlikely the nations that have nuclear arsenals are going to just start destroying every city on the planet. A terrorist nuclear threat is possible though
Nope, with American ending its days as a superpower and is on the verge of financial collapse, the threat of all out nuclear war is drastically reduced. The same thing happened with the fall of the Soviet Union. When America is eventually forced to close all its foreign bases and pull troops, it wont have the strength to get involved every single dispute around the world.
