I do think so, cant get the amount of praise the film gets, well I actually do, its just nostalgia and the huge hype and wait that was surrounding it, also the budget (unlike other highly hyped productions that turned out to be crap even after a long wait) which was very high, good animation quality and blabla.

I think it falls really short to the other 2 films, there, I said it.

I don't know about "overrated" but I didn't enjoy it (or many Pixar movies) as much as others.

No. It deserves all the praise it gets. It's one of the few Pixar movies that made my eyes water.

No, not at all. I felt it was more tense than the previous films especially at the trash melter (or whatever it's called).

First movie to fully use computer animation and remains one of the most influential films of the 90s? Yep must be overrated.

You put "overrated" and "The Incredibles" in the same sentence without saying "not" in between. You need to check your grammar pal.

This I dont get. You KNOW they (Pixar) wont kill them, seeing as it was still a kids movie.. It was a little too intense in that regard tbh.

Overrated ? hell no how many movies do you see getting a sequel 10 years down the line with it rivaling its previous movies to the same level of quality ? Especially two previous movies that have such huge ratings. Personally I think its not overrated it felt like it was MADE for not only obviously for kids but hell the older teenagers that grew up with it, im 20 and dear god that movie made me shed a tear, really spoke to to me. I praise the movie because pixar didn't just make a sequel for the hell of it, but for those who orginally watched the previous movies without it feeling like a sequel just purely made *because they could* amazing movie.

I don't think it was better than Toy Story, but just about the same as Toy Story 2.. To be quite honest I don't even remember the last time I saw Toy Story 2.

Good movie, but as is often the case with sequels, not as good as the first 2. That being said my youngest son has a "Lotso Hugging Bear" that sleeps on his bed with him so......

It's not overrated at all. It's a great film in every single way and just because it doesn't meet the expectations of the first two doesn't make it "overrated".

Not at all... It was the final installment in one of Disney best universes. Plus they were smart, and timed it so the kids who saw toy story 1, and were the same age as Andy, would have just been leaving home and heading to college when the 3rd one released. It was nostalgic, and reminded me of when i was 6.

No Pixar movie I feel is deserving of being called overrated besides UP.

UP was treated as the second coming by many, almost completely because of the opening.

Yes the opening is ****** amazing. One of the best moments in film period.

That said the rest of the movie just does not live up to the opening, and is just sort of.... safe.

I loved it, so I don't care what it was rated. I've cried at more Pixar movies than any other movies combined.

I don't think it was overrated but it's really a one watch type movie for me (Toy Story was never my favorite franchise to begin with)

I enjoyed HTTYD & Tangled more and watch them repeatedly

The opening is not even the best thing about Up- just the most talked about. And the score is one of the best ever. It wasn't perfect (Not many were saying it was), but definitely not overrated imo.
