Some of my friends think the university life is boring though I don't agree with them.

Not at all.
Sure I have my ups and downs, but I realized that one day when we die, wherever we go ( I believe in heaven, others don't believe in a thin), that we look back at life, and it would be a utter waste to live it in the low.
Also, a lot of people on the off topic forum are WAY TOOO whiney. If they've travelled and seenhow different cultures live, then I could only hope they would see how selfish we can be.
im in middle school and... well as long im not in middle school. Ill live .
however i have stayed down at my bro's university. Its pretty fun but i could imagine it getting boring.
It depends if you like your major or not :)

it's as boring as you make it. there are probably more opportunities to have fun than at most other times in your life but don't just expect the fun to come to you.

Indeed. I found this out my freshman year when I did basically nothing but study and sit.
Now I'm playing intermural sports, going to bigger parties, making more friends, etc.
You have to go out and find things to do, ask around, and things will always get better.
I am puzzled whether the knowledge we study in university is useful?
some seniors say it's no use.

A lot of college grads end up in a completely different field of work than their major specified, however, the knowledge/experience gained from college is VERY useful in the long run.
Ontain is right. A college life can either be hellaciously boring and uneventful if you become a hermit that never gets out and studies and confines themselves to a computer and a lone life.
Basically all it takes to enjoy your time at a university is to get out every once in a while and have a good time. The trick is not to isolate yourself, because if you do getting out and having fun gets a lot harder.
As for me personally, my life isn't boring. My roommate keeps things wild and insane, as he has his friends over all the time.
