Takes wars for example. South Dakota just dosen't decide to sit out the Iraq War because it feels like it.
The United States has always had trouble uniting ever since the civil war, and the 9/11 incident worsened that. All this nation wants is power, and will stop at nothing to get it. Our government already attacked our own people on 9/11, and now we are over in the middle east killing innocent bystanders because they didn't give us free oil. There is becoming more and more friction in this nation everyday, and the only way to stop it is if the American people all unite and set aside their differences and rebuild this nation the way our Forefathers meant for it to be.
Short answer: No :P.

Wait wat? Did you just say we attacked our own people on 9/11? Oh, I get it now. You're a conspiracy theorist. I think you're opinion has just been invalidated.

But it was for oil :?.
Anyways, the first war the states ever fought in was a war for power over England's rule. The United States actually wanted power so much that we fought EACH OTHER in the civil war. The south didn't like the way the north wanted to monopolize the nation, and the north hated that the south was trying to secede, so war ensued. I would go on and mention The Great War and WWII, but I am already getting enough strange looks for tonight ;).[QUOTE="Hom3_Pwn3r"][QUOTE="FatMan1945"]All this nation wants is power, and will stop at nothing to get it. 2. We stop half our country from seceding?
Those don't seem particularly bloodthirsty american power grabs to me.

 I think this argument has just been won.
In general yes. There is always some division in every company.duxup
AHAH! I KNEW IT!
Don't try and hide! This proves my theory that Americas government is ACTUALLY A CORPORATION.
Hes a mod. And mods are NEVER WRONG? AMIRITE?!
More united that alot of countries, Especially those in the middle east.. The shiites and the Sunnies arn't fond of each other! So I hearferrari2001
That's just iraq and lebanon, most other countries in the region are dominated by sunnies.
This division is also overrated considering most muslims don't feel divided over this petty issue. It'd be like a difference between baptists and evangelicals.

1. We break away from persecution from England.
and2. We stop half our country from seceding?

They aren't. I am just saying why I feel the United States isn't really United. I guess I hit submit before I had time to think about what I was typing because I truly believe most of the wars we fought (including the revolutionary and civil war) were necessary. I am just pointing out that we are not a perfectly happy United family that our name would suggest.
