i love somebody who wants to earn money, but i will put my terms of no work, cause i would not want my wife to work around with other people, cause in this world nearly all are immorals, plus i want to be rich myself so that she can be impressed and also i can put the terms in a much sound way, who needs to work around with money flowing. i might as well add this love is one sided, i will not marry her or anyone for that matter if my certain terms are not acceptable, i do not want people to touch or be next to my wife.
Yes, but it's probably better if both partners are mostly equal or negotiate their relationship roles. For instance, I don't think there is a problem with a father being a stay-at-home father if he wants to. Likewise a mother should be allowed to be a stay-at-home mother if she so wishes. Also, there is nothing wrong if your wife is around other people. Human interaction is a good thing, and not everyone is as "immoral" as you think. I'm sure you would hate it if your wife prevented you from working just because she doesn't want to you to work around other women. Finally, mutual love is essential to a good marriage. Find someone who loves you as much as you love her, and you'll be much happier. Just my two cents.
You want your potential wife kept away from the "immorals" so she won't be tempted to cheat on you, so you leave her alone and bored for eight hours a day while you're at work. Good thinking.
i am 31, i am not married yet, and personally she doing something makes me sick to worry because i am earning around 4000 and she already had two jobs as a export manager, i am way behind, its one-sided love really. Never mind all that i am saying that if the women is working more then her husband then she could really care less about family life. i have readed about such real life cases in India. Personally rather then immoral thing i do not like it and i too would avoid working around with girls cause a i am shy b its not in my personal culture to even touch anyone other then whom i am suppose to marry thats that. also i have my restrictive standards i mean i cannot see my loved one sitting with someone in a scooter even in professional terms hell no.

It's only bad if she makes more money than you hahahaha Nothing wrong with having a wife that works though, I myself would not put up with a stay at home wife. Unless shes staying home to look after the kids, but even then.... I'd only tolerate that excuse for a few years. Thats why there are babysitters.

You're obviously a young teenager. I can tell from the way you write. Your views will change as you get older.
The customs in your country must be a little different than here.
I dunno, it's all well and good to want to be rich, but if it was that easy everybody would be doing it. In real life it often takes two people working full time just to make the mortgage payments, much less support children.
Don't know about your idea of keeping your wife cloistered away. Even if you could find somebody to agree to that, I don't think she'd be too happy for too long. If you can't trust somebody enough to let them go out in public, maybe you shouldn't marry them.

If you are too strict, you will not have a long-lasting marriage. It's quite clear that your elders are right. While It is possible for anyone (including other women, FYI) to rape your wife, that is the wrong reason to prevent her from going outside. Think about it this way: you can be murdered by any of your friends; does that mean that you have to stay away from all of them? Of course not, because you trust them. Likewise, I'm sure a kitchen knife can hurt your wife if she's not careful; does that mean you should ban her from the kitchen? Surely you won't do that, because she's not a child. By that logic, you should not restrict her freedom to do other things in life just because of the small possibility of something or someone hurting her. All you should do is to help her when she is in trouble just like you would help a friend in need.
The bottom line is that you are being too strict. Your wife may be a woman, but that doesn't mean she can't do anything by herself and that she is always in danger. She has her own life, just like you.

There are a lot more people like him than you think. He's not from the Taliban; he's just a conservative Muslim. Simple as that. That's unfortunate because he is acting like a wife/woman is a piece of property not a person.
