I always turn it off before going to bed.
I don't usually turn it out if I'm going out for just a few hours or the night. If I'm going to spend the night at a friend's, I will though.
Well, my computer's uptime is currently at 7 days, 6 hours, and 1 minute.
The record is 12 days, 6 hours, and 15 minutes.
It all depends, if I think my computer could use a break, I shut it down or hibernate it, if not, I let it go because I'm usually downloading something or waiting for an email, or updating software, etc.
No. I never turn off my system unless I'm changing out hardware. I don't use many power management options either..my HDDs never turn off, nor do any of my USB devices. Basically my power management amounts to my monitor turning off after 20 minutes, and my system entering hibernation after 10 hours of inactivity (which never happens.)
I reboot every once in a while.. after Windows Updates (Vista auto-update is disabled, I selectively choose what I want to install based on the description of the update) ..important driver updates warrant a reboot as well, so do any significant registry changes.
I have seven computers right now. Two are desktop servers, one is a network data backup server. Those three mostly stay up all the time. Three others of the seven are laptops, so they are usually shut down or suspended when I'm not using them. Then I have one other desktop system that gets shut down nightly.
I run Linux on five of my systems and WinXP on the other two. My longest uptime without a reboot on one of my servers was about 200 days.

Well come to think of it, I have eight computers if I count my PS3. I run Linux (Yellow Dog) on it too. Turned off when not in use since it seems to run pretty hot.
