And if so, how did you find out about it and what makes you keep using it?

Yeah, I've used it for a long time.
No idea how I found out about it. Maybe a friend recommended it to me.
I was madly in love with Last.fm's online radio for a whole three years. Then they decided that it wasn't free anymore except for those living in UK or USA... The worst thing is that they tried to pass it off as a free trial. "Your 30 song free trial to Last.fm has ended, would you like to subscribe?". Plus, they made a blog post informing users of these changes, and instead of apologizing and asking for our support, they were pricks about it. Not cool.
So now I'm thinking about uninstalling the application, but I dunno, I kinda like the scrobbling feature and the stats. I'll see.
I don't understand it, I couldn't get my head around how it worked. I thought it was free, but it seems if I want to do anything it keeps asking me to subscribe for something. I just don't undestand what it's all about really. I stumbled across it when I was trying to find a rare track. According to Google they had it, but they wouldn't let me listen to it unless I filled out three forms and did a handstand on a full-moon while wearing a white fur coat during the summer.

Well if you live in the US or the UK, it's free. You have to make an account and download the application though, and most of the time you can't download the track, it's streaming radio.
Yeah I use it and I think it's great. I found out of website from posting on here.
Good to see other people with the same music as you do and a good wasy to keep track of your music. It's pretty good with tracking concerts near you too.
Pandora is the best.msuspartan11it's good but not better than last.fm I use last.fm to look for concerts, chat with others about bands and upcoming artists, also the radio for last.fm is a lot better. it gives you a better variety instead of recycling a lot of the same songs like pandora

I heard about if from a friend of mine a couple years back and have been hooked ever since. I think it's pretty neat to keep track of that kind of thing and useful for finding new musi as well.

You can listen to Pandora and scrobble while you're doing it. The best of both worlds, for those of us using Firefox anyways.
