Just recently Ive taken to using my computer with only a desk lamp on. I also have a USB lava lamp which goes from blue -green -amber -red -purple. And soon I'm getting a keyboard with backlighting -my current keyboard is falling to pieces the space bar is like a see-saw.
I only ever use it in the dark at night when my roommate's gone to bed, or if I'm getting ready to. Otherwise, I keep at least one other light on somewhere.
Yeah. I have a window right by the computer so usually the sunlight lights up the room. When it gets dark I usually just don't bother during on a lamp or anything so I'll end up in completely darkness. :P My mom says it's like I'm in a cave! :o
I used to leave the light on, but then the lamp switch burned out and I was stuck without a light for a few months. Now I just leave it off out of force of habit.
I tend to keep a light on at all times and completely avoid going on it when it is dark at all. I used to and apparently it was one of the main causes of my eyesight going slightly.
