Depends on the food. Meals though are usually hot.LJS9502_basicThis, though I will add that for meals that are supposed to be hot, I prefer them to be warm enough to keep the flavor, but not hot enough to cause discomfort.
I tend to make alot of hot food. I am unsure if it is what I prefer, but rather what I grew up with.
The more correct answer would be that I make hot foods when it is cold, and cold foods when it is hot, and despite making most hot foods, the cold ones are easier and like I stated likely suits me better. Yet I always makes hot foods, or a mix of both.
