Do you wanna join the army? me and my friends are going to join, we'll get a lot of benefits by joining. How about you guys? do you wanna join?

Not really. I refuse to fight for a nation that I believe is actively breaking its own laws to bring justice to an organization they helped to build.

I don't think I'd have a problem either, but that'd be because I'd be dead, and it's hard to have a problem when you're dead.

Alright, hey, when u talk to ur recruiter tell him not to give a BS job that would go out during ur first enlistment to where it is nearly impossible to get promoted. My recruiter did that to me and now i absolutley hate the BS im in. Message me if u want me to help i will be more than happy to help u.

No. Personally I hate the way recruiters seduce fresh out of high school kids to join up. Sure you can pay for college, but from what I've seen most don't end up going to college. Sure you can make some money but its roughly the same amount if you decided to work fulltime at an ok job.

Nothing against enlisted men and women, you made the choice because you felt it was right, but I've seen 17 year olds sign their lives away before they can even buy cigarettes.

I used to want to join the armed forces.

I did when I was still in high school but ended up going to college instead. If what I'm doing right now falls through though there's a decent chance I'll end up joining some branch of the armed forces, most likely the navy or air force. That is assuming that they'll even want to take me after taking a look at my scrawny ass and medical history.

Well if it was a choice between going to war or going to jail I'd go to jail.

And yeah I know what everyone's going to say "jail's a horrible place", "you can die in jail too", blah blah blah...

No way! The further I remain from anything related to the military, the better off I'll be. Even if my country got invaded I would just take my family and flee the country faster than anyone can say "army". I'm not even joking... :|

No, being a pawn of any government is nothing to be proud of.

I want to be a hero, but joining the Army dosen't give the most impact in heroism.
