Do you watch/like anime?

I really can't stand the stuff and don't get why all you guys love it. What makes it so enjoyable anyway?

Reason: I just liked it.

Not really that different from any other kind of tv show. At least some of it anyways.

Starzinger is cool, though.

Starblazers: a WWII battleship is scraped up off the bottom of the ocean and made into a spaceship that goes around kicking everything's butt. How could you not like that?

You need an "Eh, it's alright" option, as those are my opinions.

My parents showed me anime when I was a kid, since it helped me learn some Japanese (I'm Japanese descendant). I grew up watching My Neighbor Totoro, Shin-Chan and DBZ.. I found it entertaining :)

i love anime for the fact that... 1. its my childhood that i grew up on.. 2. it is its own medium the reason why anime is so great and popular is that it spans so many different genres you can have almost any kind of anime except maybe sports but even that might have a exception or two (i think theirs one about tennis) 3. the medium can be enjoyed by kids and adults alike 4. (sorta opinon) unlike alot of shows today i can still find anime i truly enjoy and love to watch hell if it wasnt for anime i would NEVER watch tv i wouldnt even touch it. 5. (opinon) anime is the only medium that can really elicit a emotion out of me unless its a REALLY good movie. 6. the stories can be amazing and alot of them can end within a pretty good time frame (24-26 episodes usually)(not talking about the stuff like bleach or naruto) 7. really i wish to ask what is good about your csi/firefly/simpsons/family guy/ whatever other kind of tv you watch there shows that get milked for all thats worth then become incredibly dumb shows that feel like there's no effort put in then finally when people don't give a crap about the show anymore it gets canned and more then likely will get no ending or if its lucky a hastily put together shotty piece of **** endingfl4tlined

I used to love DBZ and Pokemon back in the days but now... mehh. Some of my friends are telling me to watch Naruto though.:P
