There is a topic about push-ups. But I believe doing push-ups is the same thing as benching like 50 pounds (about 1/3 of your weight) and it doesn't make muscles stronger or bigger. So instead of push-ups I workout at school gym every day. It has given me much better and faster results than push-ups and set-ups. So If you can, better go to the gym :)

Push-ups don't make your muscles big. They make your chest big and give you the six pack.

But so does my Illusion Style training.

I don't bench... but I use 20lb free weights with bicep curls. Push-ups are actually quite useful if you do them right... at least to me.

i do both, personally i like weight lifting better its more satisfaction when you lift 450lbs instead of 80. Push ups are for endurance, although you may not be able to lift as much as a heavy weight lifter youll be able to do more reps of a lower weight
