I can relate to that, my sis has been pretty wild lately ever since going to college and I have to constantly look out for her. Its a real pain but hey, she's family. :)
Ya she gets alot more attention but i couldnt care less. The only reason i dont get attention is because im the only one in my family without some great accomplishment. My sister is in the military police.My stepbro is a eagle scout and gettin married soon. Me, im just jobless and have a free apartment.Just living my life at my pace.
I've gone thru this a lot recently. My little brother, now he's 31, but still has "problems". My dad recently told me that my sister and I were fine, and he and mom didn't have to worry about us, so hence the reason they weren't paying much attention to both my sister & I's family's. One of the most hurtful things my dad has ever said to me. So sorry guys and gals, you still need, and lean on your parents as adults.
Me and my brother get equal treatment I suppose. My mom has been giving more attention to my brother lately because he's 17, getting a job, going to college, has a girlfriend etc. And both my brother and father hate each other so thats what balances it out I suppose.:P
I am the baby of the family (im 19, sister is 20 and brother is 28) and I do get more spoilt-(more money spent and attention given) seeing as my sister and brother have both moved out and are more independant than I. But they both work for my parents so they see them everyday where as during the week I live out of town at uni. They are always complaining that I get so much more than them:lol:
