does anybody know what was wrong with my Ipod?

i left it plugged into my computer for a few days charging and it said i had no battery life when i looked at it again so i tried several times replugging it into my computer and it wouldnt even recognize so i waited a couple of days and tried it again and now it seems everything is fine so what up with that?

anyways, your battery might be dead... How old is it? My 2nd gen ipod did that too after 4 years. If you have an apple store near you, id take it there and see what they think. Or you might want to register for one of those mac forums... Youll get a lot of responses like the one above from here.

its the latest gen with video on it and ive only had it since September

Have you done the reset button thing? I think it's hold down the middle select and the Menu button until you see the Apple logo.
